This year Arts Alive will be held on May 23rd. Students in K and first grade will be experiencing a variety of art opportunities, which will be provided by  our Art teacher, Margo Dyer, and a group of her high school art students.   The whole school will enjoy a special lunch provided by our school cook, Mrs. Wright.  As a special end to an exciting day, they will enjoy a performance by the Frogtown Puppeteers.   A special Thanks to Mrs. Cookson for arranging this special day.

On Wednesday, May 7th, the artwork of kindergarten and first grade students adorned the hallways of the McKusick Elementary School during its 3rd Annual Art Fest. Art teacher, Mrs. Dyer, and her high school art students used this opportunity to display the creations of their young art students. Our school cook, Mrs. Lucille Wright, provided delectable delicacies for the occasion. Thanks to all the family and friends who turned out for this special event.
