Principal's Message
WELCOME!
Whether you are new to our school or leading the way, we hope that you find this school year to be a memorable and exciting one. Cooperation is, of course, key and toward that end we are focused on an education that will sustain our students for years to come. Piscataquis Community High School is a “special” place where we work diligently to earn and keep the respect of the communities we serve. Our school should be like a good family, composed of persons of different ages, but all respected and with particular rules and responsibilities.
Plans continue to transition the high school to Grades 7-12. Many folks have spent countless hours working through challenges related to this opportunity and success is pending. Two cement pads have been positioned behind the high school to relocate existing structures. Additional work will continue as the school year progresses.
Our students and staff are of the highest caliber. We cherish the successes of the past and look forward to a bright future. Our program of study is strong and options exist for each student. We encourage all students to be actively involved in the numerous co-curricular (i.e., Key Club, Chess Club, Student Council, Civil Rights, NHS, CLC, Yearbook etc.) and extra-curricular activities (athletics). Positive student involvement leads to outstanding results.
We hope that the coming academic year will be one that is both fulfilling and enjoyable.
On behalf of the Piscataquis Community High School staff, best wishes for a great year!
