Grade Five Newsletter
September 3, 2010

Welcome to a new year.  We are off to a good start, even with the heat!

Assignment books - will go home every night, collected on Fridays.  If parents check the book and sign it daily, the student will receive a merit dollar.

We do have two children with a peanut allergy.  If sending a healthy snack with your child, please do not send peanut products.

School snacks will start this coming Wednesday, but only on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

The next Pirate Rec Field Hockey practice will be held at the high school field on Wednesday, September 8th, from 5:00-6:00 p.m.  Any girls interested in playing, who have not signed up, can call Trisha Moulton at 876-4319 or just show up next Wednesday.

There will be a band (instruments) meeting with parents on September 14th at 6:30 p.m. in the cafeteria.

Where is Earl?  We need the rain!
