The focus of LA is all about reading - reading to learn, reading for pleasure, and reading across the curriculum.

All students are expected to read 2 free choice books per month for their monthly reading contract assignment. 

What’s the catch?  Each book must be a minimum of 100 pages and must be the student’s choice.

Free reading must be done at home or during study hall.  We also have assigned instructional texts to read - time is given in class for instructional reading.
